The Turlock Police Department is investigating a home invasion robbery in which two armed and masked suspects forced their way into a home around midnight Friday.

A woman was the only occupant at the home at the time and she was held at gunpoint while the house was ransacked, said Turlock Police spokesperson Officer Mayra Lewis.

The woman was not injured in the ordeal, but officers did locate a live round left from when one of the suspects “racked” the firearm, Lewis said.

The robbery was reported around midnight Friday in the 500 block of W. Tuolumne Road.

The woman told the officers the doorbell rang and when she opened it two men forced their way into the house.

Both suspects were wearing masks and one was armed with a firearm, Lewis said.

The suspects took a laptop computer, a television, cash and other items from the home.

The suspects were both described as white male adults. The armed suspect was wearing a black shirt. No further description was available.

Anyone with information about the home invasion is asked to contact the Turlock Police Department at 668-5550.
