The report of two suspicious men in an alley led to the arrest of two suspected burglars on Tuesday.

Around 6:30 p.m. Tuesday the Turlock Police Department received a report of two suspicious men in an alley behind the 1100 block of El Paseo.

The first officers to arrive noticed a home with a door ajar and could see a man going through items in the house, said Turlock Police spokesperson Officer Mayra Lewis.

The officers ordered the suspect to come out of the home and he complied. He was followed by another suspect, Lewis said.

A search showed the suspects had been piling up items behind the house to take.

Johnny Bogle, 37, and Clint Jones, 22, were arrested for burglary and conspiracy.
