A collision early Saturday morning at the intersection of Geer Road and Regis Street looked much worse than it actually was according to the Turlock Police Department.

The exact cause of the accident is still under investigation, but the lone driver of the vehicle that collided with the pole was treated for a non life-threatening injury and cleared at a local hospital. Driving under the influence was not a factor in the crash.
