Two men were arrested this week by the Merced County Sheriff’s Department in connection to a burglary in Delhi.
The investigation by sheriff’s detectives led to the identities of two suspects — Anthony Flores, 30, of Delhi, and John Angel Fuentes, age and hometown unknown.
Flores was arrested Nov. 4 at his residence in the 16000 block of Driftwood Court in Delhi. He was booked on an outstanding felony arrest warrant for narcotic charges and burglary, said sheriff spokesman Deputy Tom MacKenzie.
Fuentes, who is on parole, was talked into making a “home visit” by his parole agent to a hotel on Golden State Boulevard in Turlock on Wednesday, MacKenzie said.
When Fuentes arrived at the hotel he found Detectives Buck Ledford and Alex Barba waiting with an arrest warrant. He was booked on burglary charges and violation of parole without bail.
Detectives are in the process of trying to retrieve the stolen property, MacKenzie said.
