Turlock Police are investigating an arson fire that scorched some of the wooden play structure at Donnelly Park. The fire was reported at 10 p.m. Tuesday night and quickly doused out by Turlock fire fighters. A propellant was used at the base of the structure to start the fire, Turlock Police spokesperson Officer Mayra Lewis said.

City of Turlock employee Keith Humphres said the structure  will be fine after some charred boards are replaced.
