A 20-year-old man’s solo crash into a power pole caused injuries to his passenger and led to criminal charges when a gun was found in the vehicle.
Richard Jimenez was charged with felony driving under the influence and possession of a loaded firearm.
The crash into the power pole occurred around 11:13 p.m. in the 1100 block of Lander Avenue.
The male passenger sustained non-life threatening injuries from the collision, said Turlock Police spokesperson Sgt. Stephen Webb.
