Richard Jimenez was charged with felony driving under the influence and possession of a loaded firearm.

The crash into the power pole occurred around 11:13 p.m. in the 1100 block of Lander Avenue.

The male passenger sustained non-life threatening injuries from the collision, said Turlock Police spokesperson Sgt. Stephen Webb.
