House site of marijuana grow

A tip regarding marijuana plants in a house on Geer Road led to the discovery of a grow operation and the confiscation of several weapons by the Turlock Police Department.

A house in the 1300 block of Geer Road was the site of a search Wednesday morning that resulted in the seizure of 55 marijuana plants, a stash of hydrocodeine pills, two shotguns, a pistol, and two rifles, one of which was reported stolen, according to the police department.

Paul Richard Matthew Samaneigo, 23, of Turlock was booked on charges of cultivating marijuana, possession of marijuana for sale, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of stolen property.
