The Stanislaus State University Police Department is seeking a suspect wanted for sexual battery after he accosted a woman jogging around the campus.
The incident happened shortly before 7:30 a.m. Sunday on Christoffersen Parkway, near the baseball field.
The woman, who is not a student at the university, was out for a run when an unknown man ran up behind her, slapped her on the buttocks, and then fled westbound on the sidewalk.
He was described as a white male adult, approximately 5 feet, 7 inches tall, weighing 170 pounds. He was wearing a red hoodie, blue jeans and white shoes. He was described as having a very unique pointy nose.
The victim said she had previously seen the individual near parking lots 2 and 4 at the university earlier the same morning.
