Alex Garcia, 29, of Turlock, and Nikki Hager, 33, of Keyes, were arrested together after they allegedly stole a bottle of booze at Cost Less Foods on Hatch Road in Ceres and then fought with the loss prevention officer trying to stop them.

Police were called at 8:38 p.m. on Jan. 15 when the store employee got into a physical fight with the couple.

The loss prevention officer told police that he saw Garcia and Hager walk to the liquor aisle and saw her place a bottle of Jack Daniels in her purse.
