A Turlock man is facing charges of assault with a deadly weapon after using his car to hit a woman he was arguing with, the Turlock Police Department reported.

The incident began 10 a.m.  Saturday in the 300 block of N. Golden State Boulevard.

The suspect, identified as Sam Razai, 37, and the woman had been arguing with one another inside the vehicle. The woman got out of the car and started to walk away.

According to the police report, Razai put the car in reverse and purposefully steered it into the direction of the woman, striking her once with the car.
