TURLOCK — A Modesto man was killed and another driver seriously injured in a two-vehicle collision late Tuesday night at a busy Turlock intersection, authorities said.

The crash occurred just before 11:30 p.m. on July 9 at the intersection of Geer Road and E. Christoffersen Parkway, according to the Turlock Police Department. The cause of the crash remains under investigation. Authorities have not released further details.

“Our hearts go out to Elijah’s family and all those involved during this incredibly difficult time,” the department said in a statement.
