The man who was shot in the head Thursday night in Turlock has died of his injuries. The Turlock Police Department identified the shooting victim as 21-year-old Miguel Uvaldo Rodriguez VillalPando of Livingston.

Around 8:30 p.m. Thursday the Turlock Police Department was dispatched to the 500 block of W. F Street for a report of shots fired. The first officers to arrive located the victim with a gunshot wound to his head.

Turlock Police spokesperson Officer Steve Rodrigues said the man was on the sidewalk next to Foster Farms’ turkey plant when he was shot. The area is right next to a break area enclosed with chain link fencing.

The police department said the suspect fled the area in a vehicle, but the department has not released any descriptions of the vehicle or of a suspect.

No weapon was recovered at the scene and the police department said the suspect should be considered armed and dangerous.
