A 34-year-old woman suffered minor injuries after she was hit by a car while walking in a crosswalk.
The collision happened around 2 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of Canal Drive and Johnson Road. The victim was crossing Canal when she was hit by a Cadillac that had been southbound on Johnson and was turning onto Canal.
The victim was taken to the hospital for complaints of pain. The 87-year-old woman driving the Cadillac was issued a citation for failure to yield to a pedestrian, Turlock Police Lt. Steven Williams said.
