Police release photo of bank robbery suspect

The Turlock Police Department has released a video image of the man suspected of robbing the Umpqua Bank last week.
The bank at 400 E. Olive Ave., was robbed around 3 p.m. Jan. 19 by a lone white man. The man approached the counter and informed the teller that he was robbing the bank and made a demand for money. He left the area immediately afterwards with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Investigators are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the man photographed at the counter. The suspect was described as a white man in his late 40s to 60 years old, 5 feet, 9 inches to 6 feet tall, weighing around 150 to 180 pounds. His hair was described as dirty blond to gray and he had a gray mustache. He was wearing a brown leather jacket and dark jeans.
