A Turlock man was arrested on suspicion of trespassing and resisting arrest after the Turlock Police Department received two separate reports of the man trying to get into a mobile home.

The first call came in around 8:30 a.m. Monday with the caller the 400 block of Twentieth Century Boulevard.

Officers responded and made contact with the resident, but determined no break in had occurred, said Turlock Police spokesperson Officer Steve Rodrigues.

The park manager stated the man was 33-year-old Travis Shepherd and that he had been told to stay off the property on multiple occasions.

About 30 minutes after the first call, the police department received a second call, this time from the park manager, who informed them that Shepherd was back on the property.

Officers responded to the mobile home park again and searched the surrounding area. Shepherd was found in the 300 block of W. Hawkeye Avenue. Shepherd tried to avoid arrest by running from the officers, but was eventually relocated and taken into custody without further incident.
