A Turlock woman is facing robbery and drug charges for an alleged robbery that happened in Sunnyview Park Wednesday night.

The victim, a 28-year-old woman, contacted the Turlock Police Department Wednesday around 5:30 p.m. to report she had been assaulted and robbed by a woman she identified as Leilani Dixon, 43.

The victim said she was confronted by Dixon in Sunnyview Park in the 500 block of Berkeley Avenue. She told police Dixon was armed with a wrench and threatened to hit her if she did not hand over her backpack.

The victim complied and Dixon left with her property, according to the police department.

Officers located Dixon at a residence in the 300 block of Minaret Avenue. They also found property belonging to the victim and methamphetamine in Dixon’s possession, according to the police report.

Dixon was taken into custody on suspicion of robbery and possession of methamphetamine.
