Three suspects have been arrested in connection with thefts at KB Homes construction sites in Hughson, the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Office announced.

Over the past 10 months, investigators received approximately 11 reports of property theft at the development, including air conditioning units, water heaters, construction materials and appliances, valued at an estimated $15,490.

Detectives from the Rural Crimes Unit identified Kekoa Octubre as a suspect and later arrested him following a search of his residence. Octubre is accused of burglarizing two unoccupied homes at the KB Homes site in Hughson and one home in a Patterson development.

On May 18, at approximately 11:23 p.m., detectives interrupted a burglary in progress at the Hughson KB Homes development after the Sheriff’s Office Air Unit observed two individuals loading cabinets and construction materials from unoccupied homes. Deputies apprehended the suspects, identified as Adrian Ramirez-Baez and Isaias Machuca, and arrested them on charges of burglary, conspiracy and receiving stolen property.

Officials stated that the two incidents are unrelated, and it remains unclear whether the individuals are connected to other thefts at construction sites. The Sheriff’s Office continues its investigation and encourages anyone with additional information to contact the Rural Crimes Unit at (209) 525-7114.
