Six people were shot early Saturday at a Turlock bar, the Turlock Police Department reported.

The injuries ranged from a grazing to a gunshot wound to the face, said Turlock Police spokesperson Sgt. Michael Parmley. All were taken to area hospitals. It’s unknown at this time if any of the injuries are considered life-threatening.

The shooting was reported at 2:02 a.m. Saturday at La Cantina bar at 142 S. First Street in Turlock. Police have not yet said if the shooting happened inside or outside the bar.

The suspected shooter is still being sought. No description was available from the police department.

It’s unknown what motivated the suspect to start shooting.

Detectives were at the scene for several hours processing evidence and interviewing witnesses.
