Two women are currently wanted by the Turlock Police Department after intentionally hitting a man with a vehicle and then ramming his vehicle, which had several children in it at the time.

The incident happened in the 800 block of South Avenue and was reported to the police department around 11 p.m. Monday.

The victim, an adult male, told officers two women he knew tried to run over him with the vehicle they were in. The victim was on foot and had to jump out of the way to avoid being struck, but all the same, his lower leg was hit, said Turlock Police spokesman Sgt. Mike Parmley.

People tried to stop the driver from going after the man again by preventing her from putting the vehicle into drive, but the passenger put the vehicle into gear, which allowed the driver to ram the victim's vehicle.

The woman struck the victim's vehicle at least twice, Parmley said. The victim's vehicle was occupied by several children at the time.

The two women fled the scene before officers arrived, however, they have been identified and are being sought on charges of child endangerment, conspiracy and aggravated assault. Their names are not being released at this time.

There were no life-threatening injuries from the incident, Parmley said.
