The Turlock Police Department is investigating an armed robbery at a cigarette store that happened in the middle of the afternoon on Friday. The robbery was at Bargain Cigarettes at 1669 Lander Avenue and was reported at 4:42 p.m. Friday. The suspect entered the store and drew out a handgun, said Turlock Police spokesperson Sgt. Russ Holeman.
