A Turlock man angry at being told to move out of his family’s home, tried to set the residence on fire, according to the Turlock Police Department. Daniel Ayala, 28, was arrested on suspicion of arson on an inhabited building following the Sunday evening incident. The police department was called to the home in the 4100 block of Sage Way around 7 p.m. Sunday.
