Turlock man identified in train fatality

The Stanislaus County Coroner’s Office identified the man who died Friday morning after being struck by a train as Benjamin Lesesne, 67, of Turlock.

The collision happened shortly after 11:30 a.m. Friday at the railroad tracks at Marshall Street and S. Golden State Boulevard.

Lesesne’s family said he had recently moved to Turlock after losing his home in Paradise during the Camp Fire last year.
