The Turlock Police Department received 597 total calls, 405 calls for service and reported 193 officer-initiated calls from Aug. 4-6, 2026.

The department took 41 reports, responded to 14 traffic collisions and made 14 arrests.

Arrests for Aug. 4-6, 2026:

  • Jean Fernandez Pecho, 25, was arrested in the 1300 block of Lander Avenue on Aug. 4 for inflicting corporal injury on a spouse/cohabitant.
  • Arturo Flores, 36, was arrested on the corner of Geer Road and E. Hawkeye Avenue on Aug. 4 for driving with a suspended license due to DUI.
  • Richard Barber, 32, was arrested in the 600 block of Columbia Street on Aug. 5 for battery of a spouse/exspouse.
  • Donnell Mays, 50, was arrested in the 3000 block of Countryside Drive on Aug. 5 for violation of a domestic violence court order.
