The Turlock Police Department received 476 total calls, 353 calls for service and reported 126 officer-initiated calls from March 27-29, 2026.

The department took 51 reports, responded to 17 traffic collisions and made 17 arrests.

Arrests for March 27-29, 2026:

• Sara Freitas, 45, was arrested in the 2400 block of Geer Road on March 27 for possession of a controlled substance.
• David Yniguez, 20, was arrested in the 900 block of W. Monte Vista Avenue on March 27 for driving under the influence of alcohol and resisting arrest.
• Julio Cardoso, 32, was arrested in the 2400 block of Geer Road on March 27 for driving under the influence of alcohol and obstructing a peace officer.
• Xavier Sanchez, 20, was arrested in the 3000 block of Kendra Court on March 27 for assault with a deadly weapon.
• Shane Rodgers, 37, was arrested on the corner of N. Golden State Boulevard and W. Monte Vista Avenue on March 27 on a bench warrant for failure to appear on a misdemeanor charge.
• Amanda Stoneking, 40, was arrested in the 100 block of S. Broadway on March 27 on a bench warrant for failure to appear on a misdemeanor charge.
• Odisho Nazlo, 66, was arrested in the 2600 block of Jeannie Court on March 27 on a bench warrant for failure to appear on a misdemeanor charge.
• Saymon Safargavlan, 41, was arrested in the 2600 block of Jeannie Court on March 27 on a bench warrant for failure to appear on a misdemeanor charge.
• Guillermo Cruz Barajas, 35, was arrested in the 500 block of N. Soderquist Road on March 27 for driving under the influence of alcohol, driving with a suspended license, probation violation and obstructing a peace officer.
• Marcos Jasso, 50, was arrested in the 200 block of N. Broadway on March 27 for vandalism of $400 or more and resisting arrest.
• Gunpreet Sahota, 42, was arrested in the 100 block of E. Linwood Avenue on March 27 for trespassing.
• Denise Whitson, 61, was arrested on the corner of Lander Avenue and D Street on March 27 for storage of personal property on a city street.
• Beneil Givagivood, 27, was arrested in the 1500 block of Geer Road on March 27 for disorderly conduct with alcohol.
• Luis Valenciaserrano, 36, was arrested in the 100 block of Lander Avenue on March 27 for parole violation and riding a bicycle on the sidewalk.
• Nikko Gil, 35, was arrested on the corner of W. Main Street and West Avenue North on March 27 for possession of a controlled substance and destroying evidence.
• Jonathan Seeger, 35, was arrested on the corner of S. Center and E. F streets on March 28 for possession of a controlled substance with two or more priors and possession of paraphernalia.
• Job Garcia, 29, was arrested on the Angelus and Spruce streets on March 28 on a bench warrant for failure to appear on a misdemeanor charge.
• Michael Baker, 26, was arrested in the 100 block of Columbia Street on March 28 for assault with a deadly weapon.
• Shubdeep Salhen, 21, was arrested in the 2700 block of Geer Road on March 29 for vandalism of $400 or more.
• Isaiah Variste, 19, was arrested in the 1700 block of Homer Way on March 29 for resisting arrest.
• A female juvenile, 17, was arrested in the 1700 block of Homer Way on March 29 for inflicting corporal injury on a spouse/cohabitant.
