The Turlock Police Department received 536 total calls, 408 calls for service and reported 129 officer-initiated calls from March 9-11, 2026.

The department took 58 reports, responded to 10 traffic collisions and made 20 arrests.

 

Arrests for March 9-11, 2026:

  • Diane Gallegos, 70, was arrested in the 1100 block of Cooper Avenue on March 9 for being an accessory after the fact.
  • Daniel Meneses, 40, was arrested in the 1100 block of Cooper Avenue on March 9 for inflicting injury on a spouse/cohabitant.
  • Anthony Hancock, 34, was arrested in the 2300 block of W. Main Street on March 9 for unlawful possession/use of tear gas, unlawful possession of paraphernalia and manufacturing/sale of leaded cane.
  • Justin Franco, 34, was arrested in the 600 block of Alpha Road on March 9 for threatening a crime with intent to terrorize.
  • Tommie Smith, 42, was arrested in the 100 block of N. Tully Road on March 9 on a bench warrant for failure to appear on misdemeanor charges.
  • Kenny Story, 36, was arrested on the corner of W. Main Street and N. Tully Road on March 9 on a bench warrant for failure to appear on misdemeanor charges.
  • Derek Gaspar, 36, was arrested in the 300 block of Lander Avenue on March 9 for possession of a narcotic controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance with two or more priors.
  • Eligh Gonzalez, 19, was arrested on the corner of Geer Road and E. Canal Drive on March 9 for driving with a license suspended for a DUI.
  • A juvenile male, 17, was arrested in the 100 block of Baylor Avenue on March 9 for vandalism of $400 or more.
  • John Avila, 49, was arrested in the 100 block of S. Golden State Boulevard on March 10 for obstructing a peace officer.
  • Richard Burriel, 35, was arrested in the 2300 block of Chelsea Place on March 10 for inflicting injury on a spouse/cohabitant.
  • A male juvenile, 14, was arrested in the 1100 block of E. Tuolumne Road on March 10 for battery.
  • Jose Gonzalez, 34, was arrested in the 1000 block of N. Olive Avenue on March 11 for disorderly conduct involving alcohol.
  • Nathan Swegan, 35, was arrested in the 100 block of N. Tully Road on March 10 for disorderly conduct, intoxication with drugs and alcohol.
