The rest of the shift was a typical Sunday with calls coming in at a manageable pace.

Swing shift: Officers on the swing shift took three reports including a probation search and a warrant arrest. Calls for service were significantly more manageable Sunday, allowing swing shift officers time to catch up on reports from the previous shift. Additionally, officers assisted the Street Crimes Unit in conducting a probation search at a residence. The search resulted in the recovery of several firearms and narcotics.

Graveyard shift: Officers on the graveyard shift took three reports including trespassing, warrant arrest and driving while intoxicated. An officer contacted a group people loitering in a "No Trespassing" government property area. One of the males was found in possession of narcotics and had been trespass admonished from the property on several prior occasions. He was arrested and booked for the drugs and trespassing. An officer saw a male at an intersection who was recognized to have several outstanding warrants. The male was contacted and the warrants were confirmed. He was taken to jail for the warrants. An officer saw a vehicle driving erratically and made a traffic stop. The driver displayed symptoms of being under the influence of a stimulant narcotic. After a poor performance of field sobriety tests, the driver was arrested for driving under the influence. He was taken to the hospital for a blood draw before being booked into jail.

Day shift: Officers took nine reports on day shift including a domestic violence, elder abuse, vandalism and auto theft. Officers stayed busy all day with calls for service. Early Monday morning, an officer contacted a male sleeping in the parking lot of a gas station. He had drug paraphernalia in his possession and lied about his name. The officer was able to confirm his real identity and it turned out he had a felony warrant out of Livingston. He was booked for the warrant, providing false identity and drug paraphernalia. Monday afternoon, officers investigated a domestic violence call where a male battered and strangled his child’s mother. He was gone prior to officers arriving on scene and is wanted for felony charges.

Swing shift: Officers took nine reports on swing shift including a dangerous driver, narcotics, domestic battery and assault and battery. The day was a busier day that Sunday. Officers were responding to several incidents that required more intensive investigation. Officers were still able to handle every call that came in, as well as properly investigating and handling each call for service. Officers investigated a report of a theft of a community mailbox. At this time there are no suspects, and it appears that the suspect ripped the entire community mailbox from the post and took it. Officers also responded to a reported death. A female was found in her room at a local motel. She had not been seen for a day and during a security check, she was found deceased. There were no signs of foul play and the coroner took possession of the decedent.

Graveyard shift: Officers took six reports on graveyard shift including public intoxication, narcotics and assault and battery. An officer made a traffic stop and saw drug paraphernalia in plain view. A further search of the vehicle revealed numerous baggies containing a white powdery substance believed to be cocaine inside, along with a scale and other evidence related to drug sales. The investigation led to the driver's arrest for drug sales and transportation. Officers responded to an assault and battery between brothers. One brother was intoxicated and decided to hit the other brother. The victim wanted to press charges and an arrest was made. After the arrest, the suspect began making threats to the officer, stating that he was going to shoot him, and punch him on the mouth. He was booked for the battery and threats to the officer. Several officers also responded to an injury hit and run accident. The suspect fled on foot after the collision and was not located. Hours later, the investigating officer located an intoxicated male walking in the area of where the collision had occurred. The male was determined to have ties to the vehicle involved in the accident, paperwork with his name on it was also found in the vehicle; however, there were no witnesses who could identify him as the driver involved in the crash and no other evidence indicated that he was the driver. He was arrested and booked for public intoxication at this time.
