TURLOCK POLICE PATROL REPORTS, Sept. 9-10, 2025

TUESDAY: The Turlock Police Department processed 229 calls for service during the three shifts which resulted in the following attached notable police activities and reports taken for the 24-hour period of Tuesday.

Day shift: Officers on the day shift took eight reports on Tuesday, including a vandalism, auto burglary, theft and narcotics possession. Calls for service were steady throughout the shift.  A few times throughout the day, officers broke from their current investigations in order to respond to in-progress calls for service.  At 08:10 a.m. an officer responded to the report of suspicious people in a vehicle at a business located in the 100 block of Canal Drive.  Upon arrival the officer located two individuals asleep with drug paraphernalia in plain view.  Ultimately the two subjects were arrested for various charges.   

Swing shift: Officers on the swing shift took four reports including one disturbance, domestic violence, a missing person and assault and battery.

Graveyard shift: Officers on the graveyard shift took two reports for a violation of a court order and larceny. Officers started assisting swing shift with calls for service right out of briefing due to a lot of swing shift units being tied up on a call. Calls for service were steady throughout the shift. Officers used downtime to be proactive and to get caught up on reports from the week before.

 

WEDNESDAY: The Turlock Police Department processed 228 calls for service during the three shifts which resulted in the following attached notable police activities and reports taken for the 24-hour period of Wednesday.

Day shift: Officers on the day shift took seven reports including one for public intoxication, a bomb threat, theft, assault and battery and vandalism. This morning officers responded to the 2400 block of Geer Road for the report of a subject acting strange (under the influence).  Officers responded to the scene and located the subject who was obviously under the influence and unable to care for themselves.  They were ultimately arrested and booked into jail.  

Swing shift: Officers on the swing shift took six reports including a larceny and elder abuse. Steady shift. Officers responded to a suspicious person call and contacted the subject. He was determined to have multiple warrants for his arrest. He was arrested and booked into jail. Officers responded to an assault and battery call. Through the investigation it was determined that the adult family member had assaulted her elderly parents. She was arrested for elder abuse related charges and booked into jail. 

Graveyard shift: Officers on the graveyard shift took three reports including an auto theft and warrant arrest. Tonight’s shift was much busier than last night. Officers stayed busy with calls for service until 6 a.m. While an officer was taking a report for a stolen vehicle another officer located the stolen vehicle getting on to the freeway. The officer attempted to stop the stolen vehicle, however, it fled and a short pursuit ensued. The officer self-terminated the pursuit due to loosing site of the vehicle. An officer conducted a traffic stop and the passenger in the vehicle had a warrant for his arrest. He was placed under arrest and booked into jail. A female walking in and out of traffic was contacted by officers. The female had a warrant for her arrest. She was placed under arrest and booked into jail.
