A 16-year-old boy sustained a gunshot wound after telling a man using drugs in front of a Turlock home to leave the area, according to the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Department. The gunshot wound to the leg was not considered life-threatening and the teenager is expected to recover from the injury, according to the sheriff’s department. The shooting was reported around 8:30 a.m. Monday in the 200 block of H Street in Turlock, between Jessica and South 1st streets.
