The Turlock Police Department is investigating an armed robbery at a convenience store Monday night.

There were no injuries reported from the robbery, but at least one suspect was armed during the incident, said Turlock Police spokesman Lt. Neil Cervenka.

The robbery was reported shortly after 10:30 p.m. Monday at a Shell/7-11 store at 3420 W. Monte Vista Avenue.

The two men entered the store while the clerk was in the back. They confronted the clerk and demanded the cash from the register. The clerk complied and they took an undisclosed amount of money.

One of the robbers was holding a handgun, though he never pointed it at the clerk.

It’s unknown if they left on foot or in a vehicle.

The two men had their faces covered during the robbery. They were wearing hoodies with long sleeves, Cervenka said.
