The Turlock Police Department is investigating a residential burglary in which a valuable baseball card was stolen.

The burglary was reported at 5:45 a.m. Tuesday at a home in the 400 block of E. Tuolumne Road.

The first officers to arrive found a window had been smashed to gain entry into the home. A search was conducted of the home, but no suspects were found.

The resident was not home at the time, but reported some cash and a Willie Mays baseball card had been stolen. The value of the baseball card was estimated at $2,000, according to the police report.
