Turlock firefighters carried away the body of Pitman High junior Lucas Giron as part of the Every 15 Minutes drunk-driving crash representation on Pitman’s track on Thursday. Four students, who were part of the “walking dead,” and the Grim Reaper watched Giron being carried to the Stanislaus County Coroner van and Pitman student Lisa Yang being air-lifted out for her injuries from the staged Every 15 Minutes crash site.

The sun hung low in the sky Thursday evening as four generations of Turlock High graduates gathered to take photos in front of the Turlock Unified School District administrative office.
