Pitman High homecoming will be held on Oct. 3 when the Pride take on the Modesto High Panthers at Joe Debeley Stadium. There will be a host of activities leading up to the big night, including the crowning of the 2025 Homecoming Court. This year’s nominees are:
· Abril Lara, escorted by Norma Vazquez and Juan Lara. Interesting facts: “My heroes are my parents because they have been my biggest supporters throughout my life. They have worked extremely hard for me to be in the place I am now. My favorite quote is ‘You only have one life, so make sure it’s yours.’”
· Ava Khomari, escorted by Angela Khomari. Interesting facts: “Future plans are to graduate and go to a four year college majoring in law. I’m involved with my school by being a part of ASB Green Team, Varsity Cheer, Varsity Track and Field.”
· Emma Jackson, escorted by Sheila and James Jackson. Interesting facts: “My hero is my grandpa Wayne Greenwood, who taught me to never make someone a stranger and always live my life to the fullest. My future plan is to go to a 4 years to study Engineering to become a Structural Engineer.”
· Tori White, escorted by Tanya and Justin White. Interesting facts: “Joey Oliveira has supported me throughout all 4 years of my journey at Pitman. He is someone I can always lean on if I need support, encouragement or just a good laugh. Coach Oliveira is not just a great teacher he is a great coach! My hero is my mom. She is someone who has always set a great example to be a great person and live with integrity!”
· Hannah LoForti, escorted by Julie and Jim LoForti. Interesting facts: “My dad he is my biggest supporter and biggest critic and I wouldn't want it any other way. I thank you for everything you do dad. My biggest achievement is all the success I have had with my
livestock over the past 6 years.”
· Jianna Piro, escorted by Jesika and John Piro. Interesting facts: “My favorite quote is ‘Never regret being a good person, even
to the wrong people.’ Shout out to my older sisters, Jordyn and Justine, for being my best friends and always showing up for me no matter what. I look up to them and can proudly call them my biggest role models.”
· Jocelyne Jimenez, escorted by Rosie and Sergio Jimenez. Interesting facts: “My biggest achievement has been maintaining at least an
overall 4.0 GPA in high school. I have been a part of color guard for three years. I have been an active member in HOSA for almost two years.”
· Katie Volk, escorted by Lizzie and Brent Volk. Interesting facts: “After high school I plan on moving to a beach town for college and becoming an elementary school teacher. Shout out to my Pitman Tennis Team! I've loved being a part of this group every single year and each year it makes me feel more loved and confident. I would not be where I am today without my amazing team.”
· Kelly Lee, escorted by Roclynn Lopez. Interesting facts: “I am the captain of Pitman’s Color guard team, leading the many performances you see in football games and band reviews. My biggest achievement is rescuing animals since I was little, and being able to love and care for each and every one of them.”
· Lexi Jeans, escorted by Katie and Matt Jeans. Interesting facts: “ My favorite teacher is Mrs. Byers because I never thought I was good at math but it wasn't until I was in her class and she showed me that I was more than capable and smart enough. She showed me that my hard work pays off and that helped me believe in myself and feel more confident. My Uncle Rick and my Dad are my heroes. They are the two people in my life that I have always looked up to. The two of them have always been such a positive role model of what hard work and dedication looks like. I will always appreciate everything that they have taught me and how their motivation and encouragement has carried me so far in life.”
· Braden Silveira, escorted by Danielle and Joe Silveira. Interesting facts: “My biggest achievement was playing for the California State Water polo team. Mrs. Olesen, a great teacher and a great club advisor, has always been here to support me through my high school journey.”
· Nolan Walker, escorted by April and Andy Walker. Interesting facts: My favorite quote is ‘The more you put in the more you put out; I’d rather have too much than not enough’ by Rich Piana. I plan to go to college and study Exercise Science.”
· Xadian Padilla, escorted by Maribel Estrella and Arayaxzi Rocha. Interesting facts: “My favorite PHS teacher is Sr. Merccado. My biggest achievement in life is being able to make my own money!”

My plan is to enroll at Fresno State, graduate with my bachelor's degree in Business, and join the Air Force as an Officer after college.”
· RJ Wilharm, escorted by Maria Galvan and Martin Sanchez. Interesting facts: “My hero is my mom because she’s always there for me, no matter what. She’s strong, caring, and teaches me how to keep going even when things get hard. My future plans are to go to college and become a nurse.”
· Jeffery Kern, escorted by Emily Delay. Interesting facts: “Shout out to....Grant Day and Cole Martin , because they showed me what it means to care for others and to be not only a friend but a brother. I am the president of Kitchens for Change, a non-profit organization that helps tackle food insecurity in our community. I am also Green Team President, a Drama Club Officer, and a member of Phast Club and Harrt Club.”
· Sebastian Russell, escorted by Becky and Scott. Interesting facts: “My hero is my Pop-Pop. After high school he went into the service, fighting in Vietnam. That experience, along with his successful career, coaching softball, and raising children, gave him an interesting perspective in life. I think my biggest achievement in high school was finishing the first race I had my freshman year in Cross Country. I had been recovering from a hip surgery, and after only 12 weeks was able to run and finish the race.”
· Jonathan Woodill, escorted by Cameron and Devin Woodill. Interesting facts: My favorite teacher is Mr. Matthew, because he cares about every student and takes the time to connect with everyone. I plan to pursue a career as an airline pilot after getting my degree.”
· Brycen DeRose, escorted by Sandi and Mike DeRose. Interesting facts: My hero is my Dad because he provides for everyone, works hard, and pushes me to be the best I possibly can. I'm blessed to call him my Dad. I plan to attend college and become a Physical Therapist to help provide for my future family members and live the happiest life I could.”
