On Friday, Mariachi Orgullo de Pitman performed a small concert to introduce a mariachi program they have been working on since 2020. The mariachi band consists of musicians from the Pitman marching band and orchestra.  The band played a variety of traditional mariachi songs such as "Cielito Lindo," "Hermoso Cariño" and "De Colores."  Mayor Amy Bublak was in attendance with her husband and a few TUSD board members to enjoy the concert.

Directors Ruben Modesto and Morgan Machado anticipate the program will grow larger and will plan future fundraisers to help facilitate its success.
