Rojas named YCCD board chair

Trustee Abe Rojas, of Turlock, has been named the new Chairman of the Yosemite Community College District Board of Trustees.

Rojas will hold the position through November 2013. He replaces outgoing chair Mike Riley, of Modesto.

Rojas has served the YCCD board for 17 years, representing Trustee Area 3, which includes Turlock Denair, and Hughson.

Lynn Martin, of Sonora, was appointed to serve as vice chair for the same period.
