TUSD to host job fair

For the first time since the pandemic, the Turlock Unified School District will be hosting a job fair. The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Jan. 21 at the Medeiros Elementary School cafeteria.

According to TUSD Director of Communication, Family Engagement & Outreach Marie Russell, the event aims to fill approximately 70 certificated and classified positions, with opportunities for interviews and potential on-the-spot offers of employment.

Classified positions available include bus drivers, cashier servers, crossing guards, custodian, groundskeepers, a licensed vocational nurse, a special education para-professional, technology support specialists, occupational therapists and substitutes. Certificated positions available include English, math, music, social studies, special education, and multiple subject TK-6 teachers.

Potential employees can also obtain job information for available positions, engage with administrative team, learn about the employment process for TUSD.

Potential applicants and attendees are encouraged to register for the event through the links at www.turlock.k12.ca.us/jobfair. Attendees are also encouraged to dress to impress and bring a resume, though it is not required.
