The University of California, Merced, pushed back the deadline for Fall 2010 applications for the second time in as many days.
The deadline originally sat on Tuesday, but due to overloading of the UC online application system the University announced that day they would extend the filing period to Wednesday. On Wednesday, UC Merced announced they would again extend the application filing period to Dec. 15 for freshmen and transfer students who intend to begin their studies in Fall 2010.
All applications must now be submitted online at http://universityofcalifornia.edu/apply by 11:59 p.m. on Dec. 15 to be considered.
Those who have already applied to other UC campuses and would like to be considered for admission to UC Merced can send a letter including their application ID number, the campus name — UC Merced, an intended major, and a check or money order payable to the Regents of the University of California for $60 ($70 for international applicants) to University of California Undergraduate Application Processing Service, P.O. Box 4010, Concord, CA 94524-4010. Some applicants may be eligible for a fee waiver, available online at http://www.universityofcalifornia.edu/admissions/undergrad_adm/apply/how_apply/apply_fees.html
