Farms & Fields opens in Carnegie Lobby Gallery exhibit
Farm & Fields 2025
Lynn Sarraille, of Turlock, was named an Honorable Mention for her work Camus Valley #3, scratch board & acrylic ink.

The Carnegie Arts Center will be opening a new exhibit of works by regional artists in the CAC Lobby Gallery.  The annual exhibition, Farms & Fields, is a juried, all media show that celebrates the variety and importance of agriculture in the Central Valley.  Artists from throughout northern and central California submitted work that is influenced or inspired by the agricultural life of the Central Valley.

Fifty-five works by 38 artists were selected, representing 15 different regional communities. Juror Nicole Slater, a well-known artist who is the owner and instructor at the Artist’s Loft in Modesto, selected these works from 120 submissions. The exhibition includes paintings, photographs, prints, drawings, watercolors, mixed media, pastels, ceramics, woodworking, and fabric arts. Subjects include field crops, orchards, farm equipment and buildings, livestock, irrigation, the people who work in agriculture, and more.
