Making its annual visit to Turlock, the Yosemite Renaissance exhibition will be on view in the Lobby Gallery at the Carnegie Arts Center from Aug. 5 through Oct. 18, 2025. A free public reception will take place from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Aug. 8.

This is the 40th annual Yosemite Renaissance exhibition, showcasing works inspired by Yosemite National Park and the California Sierra Nevada region, by artists from across the country. This year, the show features paintings, photographs, sculptures, fiber arts, drawings, prints, watercolors, ceramics, and mixed media works by more than 50 artists.

For over 150 years, artists have played an important role in the establishment of our state and national parks, encouraging people to visit iconic natural sites, and to protect our parks, wild lands, and natural resources. Yosemite Renaissance is dedicated to this ideal. For 40 years this annual juried exhibition has celebrated the beauty and wonder of nature, while exploring environmental issues, ecology, history, current events, spiritual, and cultural themes.

The exhibition opened earlier this year at the Yosemite Gateway Art Center in Oakhurst and traveled first to the Kings Art Center in Hanford before making its way to Turlock.

The Carnegie is located at 250 N. Broadway, Turlock. It is open from 10 a.m. to 5 pm. Tuesday through Saturday. Lobby Gallery exhibitions are always free; Ferrari Gallery admission is $7 general; $5 seniors/students; free for Carnegie members, children 12 & under, and EBT cardholders.
