StanisCruise, operated by the Stanislaus Council of Governments (StanCOG), is hosting a Bike Month Challenge for Stanislaus County residents during the month of May. The campaign encourages bicycling, fosters friendly competition, and demonstrates the benefits of riding more frequently.

“As a fitness enthusiast and the StanCOG Policy Board Chair, I am excited to bring the inaugural Bike Month Challenge to Stanislaus County and promote the benefits riding a bike can bring,” said StanCOG Policy Board Chair and Ceres Mayor Javier Lopez.

Individuals and organizations from across Stanislaus County are signing up for the Bike Month Challenge and showing their support for bicycling as part of the regional challenge. The bike month challenge is a fun way to support good health and fitness while improving air quality.

Participants are eligible to win a great range of prizes, including a Specialized Turbo Como SL 4.0 e-bike, an Apple Watch, and even $2,500 cash. The competition is free to join; register at https://www.lovetoride.net/staniscruise and start tracking trips!
