Keyes residents facing significant sewer rate increase

A notice sent to Keyes residents about the sewer rate increase stated that it was necessary “due to increased operating expenses, including significantly higher treatment charges from the city of Turlock, which processes the district’s wastewater.”
Residents of Keyes may soon see a whopping sewer rate increase of $37 per month with a protest hearing scheduled for later this month.
