MODESTO — Stanislaus County Workforce Development has launched a new online Business One Stop Services website, offering entrepreneurs and business owners a centralized hub for starting, running, expanding or transitioning a business.
The site, which went live Oct. 1, is funded through Stanislaus 2030 investments and is designed to streamline access to resources, reduce barriers to growth and help local businesses navigate an evolving economic landscape.
The platform organizes information into four pathways — Start Your Business, Run Your Business, Expand Your Business and Transition Your Business — each providing step‑by‑step guidance tailored to different stages of business development. New entrepreneurs can find support on licensing, registration and compliance, while existing business owners can access tools for operations, workforce development, marketing and regulatory updates.
For those looking to grow, the site includes information on procurement, franchising, capital access and market data. Business owners preparing to sell, transfer or dissolve a company can explore transition options aimed at ensuring a smooth exit.
The website also features a public event calendar where organizations can submit workshops, job fairs and networking opportunities. A procurement section outlines local contracting processes and highlights support available through the Small Business Development Center. A directory of Community Development Financial Institutions offers lending options for startups, expansion projects and businesses in underserved communities. Permitting guidance is included to help owners navigate city and county requirements.
County officials say the Business One Stop is a collaborative effort involving local cities, workforce agencies, nonprofits, lenders and business organizations, all working to strengthen the region’s small‑business ecosystem and improve economic mobility.
Entrepreneurs can access the new platform at www.StanBusinessOneStop.com. A multimedia advertising campaign is planned to promote the launch.
