The holidays are here, spread the cheer and nominate a water saving hero

With winter here and many putting a halt to their outdoor watering, there are still plenty of ways to conserve. The City of Turlock asks that you recognize those individuals and nominate them as your Water Saving Hero. Conservation efforts come in many forms: keeping a bucket in your showers, collecting rain water, reducing water use by 32 percent or educating the public about the importance of conserving earth’s most precious resource.

Regardless of the amount one is conserving, it is all about doing our part to help the State of California in pulling through the drought. The nomination process is easy. Go to the City of Turlock’s website at www.cityofturlock.org, in the keyword search box type “Water Saving Hero,” scroll down to the link that says “City of Turlock: City Departments: Municipal Services.” Fill out the required information and click “submit.”

For questions or additional information, contact Municipal Services at 209-668-5590.

Brought to you by the City of Turlock Municipal Services Department.

WATER CONSERVATION TIP #31
