An outpouring of support for President Donald Trump hit the streets of Turlock on Saturday as one of countless “rolling rallies” staged throughout the nation which are vying for the reelection of No. 45. Hundreds of trucks, cars, big rigs and even tractors met for a rally at the Stanislaus County Fairgrounds before parading throughout the city with flags flying and horns honking. Supporters of the caravan watched from the streets as participants drove by, waving to those who had gathered in the vehicles and even on the back of trailers. Republican Congressional candidate Ted Howze also made an appearance and was met with raucous applause from the large group after speaking to the President’s supporters during the rally and thanking them for the wonderful turnout.
Turlock resident Barbara Jensen called the support shown at the rally by local conservatives “enthusiastic.”
“They came for Trump, got Ted and it showed that Republicans aren’t divided at all,” she said.
