Science Night: Great Valley Museum will host its Science Night at the Museum at 7 p.m. Friday. There will be free telescope viewings, planetarium shows, exhibits and more. The museum is located at 2201 Blue Gum Ave. on the West Campus of Modesto Junior College.

Vicki Lawrence & Mama: Emmy Award-winning comedienne Vicki Lawrence will bring her most endearing character to date, Thelma Harper, or “Mama“ as she is better known to her fans to the Gallo Center for the Arts at 7:30 p.m. Friday. For tickets, visit galloarts.org.

Oscars at the State: The State Theatre in downtown Modesto will continue its Oscar series with “Sentimental Value,” nominated for nine Academy Awards, including Best Picture and Best Director. Egg Hunt: The Queen Bean Coffee House is hosting an Easter Egg Hunt from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday. Participants are asked to bring their own baskets. The Easter Bunny will also make a visit. The coffee house is located at 1126 14th St., Modesto.

Wellness Art Club: Led by Recreational Therapist Jesse Hunt, the Wellness Art Club will include artmaking as a coping skill and lifestyle lessons to support positive mental health.
