Friday Night Jazz: The Carnegie Arts Center will host an evening of holiday jazz featuring Stan State Jazz Studies Program Big Band and Combos from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday. Spirit of Giving Run: The annual Spirit of Giving 5K Run will be held at 8:30 a.m. Saturday in downtown Modesto. This annual run hosted by the ShadowChase Running Club will benefit the Modesto the youth scholarship program for Modesto Recreation and the Modesto Gospel Mission.
