Art Reception: The Carnegie Arts Center will host a reception for the “Valley Focus: Bill Harris – From Life” exhibit from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday. This is a free event and open to the public. The Carnegie is located at 250 N. Broadway, Turlock.

Claws for a Cause: The Support the Arts Crab Feed will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 1813 Oakdale Rd., Modesto. The Juline Foundation's Annual Crab and Shrimp Fest includes all-you-can-eat steamed crabs, peel and eat shrimp, pesto pasta, Caesar salad and garlic bread.
