Science Night
Great Valley Museum will host its Science Night at the Museum at 7 p.m. Friday.

Science Night: The Great Valley Museum at Modesto Junior College will host its monthly Science Night at the Museum from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday. There will be free telescope viewings, planetarium shows, learning activities and more. The museum is located on the first floor of the MJC West Science Community Center, 2201 Blue Gum Ave., Modesto.

Elvis: Matt Stone will bring Elvis Presley alive on stage at The State Theatre in downtown Modesto at 8 p.m. Friday. Unlike many tribute artists, Stone portrays Elvis in his prime with unmatched accuracy in sound, style, and spirit. For tickets, visit thestate.org.

Modesto Roadsters: Modesto’s newest professional baseball team, the Roadsters, will take on the Yuba-Sutter Freebirds at 7:11 p.m. Friday, 5:35 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. Sunday at Modern Woodmen Field, 601 Neece Dr., Modesto. For tickets, visit modestoroadsters.com.

One Night in Memphis: One Night in Memphis, a high-energy concert that takes you back to Dec. 4, 1956, when Elvis Presley, Carl Perkins, Jerry Lee Lewis and Johnny Cash, gathered together for an impromptu jam session at the legendary Sun Studios in Memphis, will be at the Gallo Center for the Arts at 5 p.m. Sunday. Graffiti Classic: The Graffiti Classic Car Show will kick off Modesto’s Graffiti Summer events from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday at McHenry Village, 1700 McHenry Ave., Modesto. Hosted by the Modesto Area Street Rod Association, it features over 500 classic cars. Admission is free for spectators.
