Comedy night

Comedy Night: Youth for Christ is hosting a Comedy Night at 7:30 p.m. Friday at The State Theatre in downtown Modesto. Three clean comedians from around the country are bringing their talents together for a family friendly “Comedy Club” style event. For tickets, visit thestate.org.

Science Night at the Museum: The Great Valley Museum will hold a Science Night at the Museum from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday. There will be free telescope viewing on the rooftop observation decks and planetarium shows, along with educational displays and exhibits. The museum is located at 2201 Blue Gum Ave., Modesto.

The Selena Experience: Evelyn Molina and her band will bring The Selena Experience to the Gallo Center for the Arts at 7:30 p.m. Saturday.
