The Haunting of Hill House

Phantasm in the Footlights: Come along as B-movie monsters explore 100-year-old classics and standards through a macabre lens. Vampires, Frankenstein and his crew, mummies and witches, singing skeletons and other adorable hard boiled villains will feature in this old timey Vaudeville-style variety show at 7:30 p.m. Friday at The State Theatre in downtown Modesto. Wellness Art Club: Led by Recreational Therapist Jesse Hunt, the Wellness Art Club will meet at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Carnegie Arts Center. Each meeting will include artmaking as a coping skill and lifestyle lessons to support positive mental health. Pre-registration suggested but not required; drop-ins welcome.
