Members and guests of the Turlock American Legion Post celebrated the organization's 96th anniversary on Friday with a dinner hosted by the American Legion Auxiliary. Founded in 1919, the American Legion Rex Ish Post 88 is named after Rex Ish, the first World War I causality from Turlock. Over the decades, the American Legion members have been dedicated to serving military veterans, service members and the community at large.
